Docdown is an open-source desktop application that helps you download your Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides as Markdown files. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data Docdown accesses, how it is used, and your rights.
When you sign in with Google, Docdown requests the following read-only permissions:
Docdown can only read your files. It cannot modify, delete, or share any of your Google Drive content.
Docdown communicates only with Google's APIs (Drive, Docs, Sheets) to authenticate you and access your files. No other third-party services are used. No data is shared with any third party.
Docdown does not retain any of your data. Your Google authentication token is stored locally and can be revoked at any time by:
Docdown is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Docdown after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
